Inculcating & imbibing Life skills in addition to engineering knowledge is essential, desirable & vital in addressing current and future challenges. Life Skill I & II course is introduced to F.Y.B.Tech students with an objective to understand importance of physical activities and awareness about the health along with to provide platform to express their mind, body and the emotions through different activities. Various activities are planned & conducted throughout the Academic Year. The Outcome of Life Skill scourse is defined as:

Course Outcomes are: Students will be able to

• Develop their interest in terms of hobbies and physical health
• Explore self-pace and use it in one’s growth, Understand social need and act accordingly
• Express their thoughts for the situation in real life
• Develop skills to get along with others and to create and maintain satisfying relationships

Activities Carried out

• Yoga & Meditation Sessions: Yoga teaches us to lead a healthy life. It improves creativity, concentration, and sharpens our memory. On that note, we have conducted Yoga sessions as per the following schedule by Mrs. Ujwal Nikam & Mr. Prabhuling Zunja, Certified Yoga Instructors.


• Motivational Sessions
  1. Motion session on "Managing Emotions" was conducted by Dr. Rajiv Nagarkar for all the F.Y.B.Tech students with an objective to offer some practical ideas about how you can manage your own emotions so that you can use and harness them, but are not governed entirely by them.
  2. Motion session on "Effective use of social media" was conducted by Meera Natrajan. Social media, if used with intention, can positively influence the way each individual learns and absorbs information in the classroom. Incorporating social media into a more traditional learning environment can expand students' creative freedom and encourage them to work harder and engage more.
  


• Sports Session

  Sports sessions were arranged with an objective to develop their interest in terms of hobbies and physical health.



• Role-Play

  Roleplay was carried out with an objective to explore self-pace and use it in one’s growth, Understand social need and act accordingly
