The Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities is dedicated to instilling a solid foundation for all engineering students. We understand the importance of the first year in shaping our students' academic and professional trajectories and are committed to providing a comprehensive and engaging education.
Our department has state-of-the-art facilities and passionate faculty in a variety of applied sciences and humanities fields. The curriculum is meticulously planned to encompass Engineering Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Communication Skills, Life Skills, and Introductory Engineering Courses. Our holistic approach guarantees that students learn the fundamentals needed to succeed in the engineering field. In addition to rigorous academics, we offer first-year students projects, workshops, seminars, and technical symposiums to enhance their learning. Critical thinking, ethics, and professional skills are additionally emphasized to prepare students for challenges in the engineering profession.

It is a privilege for me to be a part of Board of Studies (Applied Sciences and Humanities) of PCCoE which has been granted 'Autonomous Status' from A.Y. 2020-21. The faculty of the college have taken tremendous efforts in finalising the syllabus, exam structure and other details. They have successfully completed the first academic year of autonomy, maintaining their high academic standards. PCCOE incorporates learning and earning ways followed by an integration of academic research and innovation. PCCoE, research was one of the important fragments of the curriculum. State-of the art laboratory equipped with Hardware, Software and computing facilities, faculty groups working in core and allied areas Library resources (Books, International and National Journals etc) and interaction with National research laboratories.

PCCOE is an awesome college for Engineering and Technology education. The infrastructure in college is excellent, and various facilities are available. The faculties are highly qualified, knowledgeable and dedicated. Labs are equipped with many modern machines and the library facility is also excellent. The placement scenario at the college is great, having almost 100% placements.

With my experience, so far, I find that the PCCoE is doing a meticulous process and is paying attention to every aspect of students' improvement and education. PCCOE is known for its quality education, discipline, and placement records. Well, when you step inside the institution, this image makes sense. I am a junior here in the computer engineering program, and I receive a great deal of help from the faculty, from academics to internship offers. I first met the best people in my life in this institute. The teaching quality is quite above par, and the institute provides many opportunities to learn and develop ourselves, like language learning classes where you can learn either German or Japanese, from the first year itself. PCCoE gives you numerous opportunities to learn in various aspects. I always tried to engage in team management activities since the first year itself and got to grow a lot throughout the process. Being involved in extra-curricular activities has taught me values that help me in both my professional as well as personal life.
